For me, it's so much more! Every little cake is a craft that has received a lot of care and love. All based on carefully selected ingredients that must be organic and, if possible, locally grown. Baking takes time and requires accuracy, and
in the name of honesty, I must admit that it does not always turn out the way I intended, there are many things that can go wrong. Weighing, fermentation, baking.
For me, the aesthetic is as important as the taste, I want them to be nice to look at, just as big, the same shape and the right color.
I have many times baked cakes that are good but ugly!
And
So the next time you put a cake in your mouth, take your time, feel for it and treat yourself to a taste experience!
GRANDMA
"My children's grandmother was called Nanny Linnea Brun, born Spång. She was born in 1908 in Låstad in Västergötland. As a young woman she moved to her aunt Agnes who was a teacher at Hester school. It happened that she had to go up to Hester farm to borrow the phone and there she met her future husband John.
Late in life she became my mother-in-law and my children's grandmother. She lived in this house and that's why we always called it Grandma's house. To Grandma, the children could always run in and get a cake.
Today I am also a grandmother and yes, there are still cookies "

GRANDMA'S COFFEE HOUSE
Welcome in or settle down in our garden furniture!
In addition to good coffee, you can enjoy the greenery, our beautiful buildings and farm animals.
There are also some tables inside Grandma's coffee house.
The house was built in 1767 and originally served as a tavern. Now we have carefully and with old methods renovated this house. You must not miss to go inside and take a look!
